Product recall at Nestlé
Nestlé is voluntarily recalling certain batches of LACTOGEN Harmony 1 – 500 g and BEBA OPTIPro 1 – 600 g.
We hereby inform our consumers that, as a precautionary measure, Nestlé is initiating a voluntary product recall of certain batches of LACTOGEN Harmony 1 – 500 g and BEBA OPTIPro 1 – 600 g infant formula, which were sold in several European countries.
The safety and well-being of infants is of paramount importance to Nestlé.
This action is being taken as a precautionary measure, as the presence of the bacterium “Bacillus cereus” has been detected on the production line where the affected batches were produced.
The voluntary recall only affects products with the following identifiers:
- Product name: LACTOGEN Harmony 1 – 500 g
- Manufacturing batch number: 53020346BB and 53030346BA
- Best before date: 2027.04.30.
- Product name: BEBA OPTIPro 1 – 600 g
- Manufacturing batch number: 52870346BB
- Best before date: 2027.04.30.
We have not received any information about illness related to the consumption of the products affected by the recall.
Consumers who have purchased LACTOGEN Harmony 1 – 500 g or BEBA OPTIPro 1 – 600 g with the above manufacturing identifiers should not give them to their children. They should return the product to the place of purchase for a refund. If our consumers have any concerns regarding their children’s health, please contact their pediatrician or health visitor.
The voluntary recall only applies to the above production lots and does not affect other products.
