Electronic payment solutions are spreading among 14-18 year olds
Electronic payment solutions are gaining more and more space among young people who use banks, while cash is still very popular – according to K&H’s research into the financial habits of 14-18 year olds. In the case of electronic payment solutions, children must also be taught how to use them safely, as this age group is increasingly becoming the target of fraudsters. Students can get important advice on digital banking, cashlessness, and security at the K&H Vigyázz, pozó, money! in its series of contests and in the related knowledge base, it is therefore worth taking part in the competition with a decade-long history.
Although everyday life is increasingly about the explosive development of electronic, including smartphone, payments, cash still plays an important role in the lives of young people. This is what K&H’s autumn research, which examined the financial habits of 14-18-year-olds, concluded.
According to the survey, almost a third of young people with a bank connection and some income or savings use cash all the time or in most cases when making payments, 30 percent of them make purchases in cash or electronically.
