Terézváros – public support for longer opening hours
It seems that the majority of the citizens of Budapest opposes the restrictive regulation of the opening hours of restaurants, shops and clubs opening restrictive by the municipality of Terézváros.
A site survey by the Community Monddmeg.hu 91 percent did not agree with the rules.
According to the regulation of the local government, from 1st September, restaurants, shops and night clubs can be open until 10 hours pm, except where two-thirds of the residents contributes to the extended opening hours, but it is only up to the morning until 1 am, and the terraces are accepted until midnight. Among the citizens of Budapest only 9 percent – of the 400 respondents survey – agree with the regulation of 17 percent would not introduce any restriction – reports Piac & Profit.
