Milk toast on the occasion of the World Milk Day

On June 1, our most important calcium source is celebrated in 160 countries. The Rippel Brothers, Lola, and DJ Dominique are also celebrating the World Milk Day by milk toast.

The popular acrobat  pair, the young singer and the well-known disc jockey, have also joined to the international event of the International Dairy Federation and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)

The aim of the World Milk Day is to raise awareness on the importance of milk consumption and its role in healthy nutrition worldwide. On the basis of the datas of Tetra Pak Hungária Zrt., the rate of milk consumption is different on every continents. The Hungarians consumed 67 liters, ie 1.8 dl of milk in 2011, which is exceeding the average of the European Union as well as the rate of the world, but it is still less than the 0.5 liters per day amount, proposed by experts.
