Milk Product Councils: the costs of dairy farmers are increasing
The Intergovernmental Organization for Milk and Product Council has repeatedly stressed the importance of resolving the tensions between dairy farmers and retailers.
In the domestic context, the increasing inflation and the drastic increase of input costs remain a very serious challenge for dairy farmers. Dairy farmers are massively indicating a steady rise in labor and wage costs. It is not only the increase in the minimum wage that is a problem for employers, as the wages of higher earners also need to be increased in order to keep them.
