TECHXPO 2024: Antal Rogán will give the opening keynote speech of the conference
Tomorrow, the four-day TECHXPO 2024 event will begin, bringing together prominent figures from Hungarian and regional business, government and academic life in Budapest from November 21 to 24. The event will kick off with a significant international conference program, the opening keynote of which will be given by Antal Rogán, Minister Head of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet Office, on the topic of Digital Citizenship.
The conference program on November 21 covers a wide range of areas, from the societal shaping power of AI to the impact of technology on healthcare, the economy and sustainability: speakers will present the current and future impacts of artificial intelligence, digitalization and technological development.
The program of the opening day of TECHXPO will start with a presentation by Minister Antal Rogán and András Both, CEO of the Digital Hungary Agency. The keynote speech will be given by Gerd Leonhard, one of the world’s TOP 10 futurists. He will be followed by, among others, Hong-Eng Koh, Huawei Technologies’ Global Public Service Industry Lead Scientist, Dr. Gábor Prószéky, Director General of the HUN-REN Linguistics Research Center, Gábor Bojár, Founder of Graphisoft, and Péter Szabó, Managing Director of Microsoft Hungary. The presentations will focus on the future of artificial intelligence and industrial digitalization, presenting the impact of technology on society and the economy.
On Friday, November 22, the morning conference stream will feature presentations and panel discussions on the application possibilities of artificial intelligence in logistics and healthcare, as well as the future challenges of cybersecurity. The program will also include a sustainability section, which will discuss the relationship between technology and environmental sustainability from two perspectives, under the title “Technology is not another planet – Digital Sustainability”.
The 3rd Swiss-Hungarian Health Forum will also be organized within the framework of TECHXPO, in cooperation with the Swiss-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and the Swiss Embassy, with a focus on public health and innovation. During the closed event, experts will discuss how digitalization can contribute to the development of healthcare systems and the improvement of the health of the population.
