Tesco leaves the Japanese market
Referring on improper business movements, the British Tesco stopped its activity in Japan: the world's third largest retail chain on Wednesday announced that it would sell 129 stores in the Tokyo area.
Tesco in its latest annual report, used the “modest loss” phrase in connection with Japan. Philip Clarke, chief executive officer, said: the company has concluded that the company in Japan can not build economic activity. The selling of the shops will begun in the forthcoming months – reports MTI.
