Spring buzz in retail trade
In March 2018 like-for-like retail volume sales augmented by 8.5 percent; adjusted for calendar effects, the sales growth was 7.1 percent – reported the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Food and food-type retail sales increased by 7 percent and non-food sales grew by 7.8 percent, while motor fuel volume sales rose by 5.1 percent. In January-March 2018 like-for-like volume sales – adjusted for calendar effects – surpassed the previous year’s level by 7.2 percent. //
