Guest traffic increased in the hotels of the Czech Republic last year
Last year, the number of overnight stays in hotels, guesthouses and campsites of the Czech Republic increased to 18.3 million, which is 6.9 percent more than a year before – the Czech Statistical Office announced in Prague on Wednesday.
According to the data, the number of domestic and foreign tourists increased both in commercial accommodations. The increase was detected in all Czech regions. The number of guests increased the fastest in northwest Bohemia’s Ústí region (10.6 percent), while the number of overnight stays rose in the Karlovarsky region (13.2 percent) the most.
