Industrial production fell last year to the bottom

According to the preliminary datas of the Central Statistical Office; the volume of industrial production was 17.7 percent lower than in 2008.

The industrial production, compared to the same period of last year, increased by 1 percent in December 2009. Cleared from the working day effect, decreased by 1.4 percent.
Compared to November, the seasonally and working day-adjusted industrial production index decreased by 5.7 percent, in December.
