Last year – with a significant surplus – foreign trade turnover declined

According to the preliminary datas of the Central Statistical Office; the value of export was 16 729 billion HUF, while the value of import was 15 439 billion HUF last year.

The euro value of export decreased by 19, the euro value of import decreased by 25 percent. The foreign trade balance showed a 1290 billion HUF surplus.
In December 2009 – according to the first estimations of the Central Statistical Office – the export value was 1324 billion HUF, while the import value was in 1217 billion HUF.
