Tourism traffic increased in only one EU country
The traffic of commercial accomodiations decreased in 26 EU countries, out of 27 – informs Eurostat.
According to the European Union's statistical office; a total of 1.5 million guest nights were spent at the commercial accomodiations of the EU in 2009, 5.1 percent less than a year ago. Last year, the decline has slowed down gradually: the traffic of the first four months was below by 8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, while between September and December decline was 3.6 percent – reports MTI.
