Last year we exported almost 19,000 tons of sausages
Hungary exported 18,000 900 tons of sausages to 45 countries last year, making Hungary the 12th in the world, Szijjártó Péter, Minister of Foreign Affairs said at the 23rd Békéscsaba Sausage Festival on Saturday.
At the opening of the festival, the Minister of Foreign Affairs called on teams to knead enough sausages to “be in the top ten next year.”
Szijjártó Péter explained that the Hungarian economy is export oriented, the growth path depends on the volume of exports. Exports exceeded 100 billion euros in the last two years, contributing significantly to the Hungarian economy growing above the EU average. (MTI)
