Agriculture played a major role in last year’s economic growth
In 2013, the gross added value of agriculture calculated on 2012 prices increased by 33 percent and calculated at current prices increased by 7 percent. However, the labor utilization was 1 percent lower than in 2012.
According to the datas of the Central Statistical Office, the volume of output of agricultural output 12 percent, it value – at current basic prices – increased by 4 percent, compared to 2012 with the 7 percent decrease in prices. 59 percent of the output derived from plant products, while 34 percent from the production of animals and animal products.
