Domestic tourism ensured the growth of Romanian tourism last year – Ziarul Financiar economic daily wrote on Monday.

According to the data from the Romanian National Statistical Institute, the number of overnight stays at commercial accommodation establishments in Romania increased by 5.7 percent to 28.449 million last year. The number of guests increased by 6.3 percent to 12.809 million, of which the number of Romanian tourists were more than 10 million. (MTI)
