7.9 million tourists visited Prague last year
Last year, 7.9 million tourists visited Prague, 3.2 percent ie 242,000 more than in 2017 – the Mladá Fronta Dnes Czech newspaper reported the data of the statistical office on Friday.
6.7 million foreign tourists visited the Czech capital. Mainly Germans (14 percent), Americans (7 percent), British and Russians (6-6 percent), and Italians and Chinese (5-5 percent). At commercial accomodiations, tourists spent 18.3 million guest nights. (MTI, Kokes János)
