The number of guest nights increased by 7.8 percent in Romania last year, compared to 2015 – the Romanian national statistical institute announced on Thursday.
10.4 percent more, 10.917 million tourists visited the Romanian commercial accomodiations last year, who spent a total of 25.275 million guest nights. The Romanian tourists stayed for an average of 2.4 nights, while foreign tourists spent an average 1.9 guest nights at the Romanian commercial accommodations. (MTI)
