Retail sales increased by 7 percent in Romania last year
Last year, retail sales increased by 7 percent in Romania, compared to 2013 – teh Romanian national statistical institute announced on Tuesday.
The increase is mainly due to the 10.6 percent growth of the non-food sales. The sales of foods, beverages and tobacco rose by 7.5 percent, while fuel sales stagnated last year. In December retail sales rose by an annual 6.5 percent, compared to December 2013. (MTI)
