Hungarian economy declined by 6 percent last year
According to KSH’s and Ecostat’s datas; The latest Hungarian GDP data caused a slight positive surprise among analysts. The Hungarian economy shrunk by 4 percent in the last quarter of last year, compared to the same period of the previous year.
This is the best quarterly statictic of the past year. In the first quarter, decline was 7.1, and 7.5 percent decline occured in the second quarter. So far, the seasonally adjusted quarterly data is negative, but it is only minus 0.4 percent, which is the best data, since the second quarter of 2008 – reports Világgazdaság Online.
