Romanian retail sales grew by 5.4 percent last year
Last year, the volume of Romanian retail sales increased by 5.4 percent, compared to the previous year – the Romanian National Statistical Institute announced on Tuesday.
According to the seasonally and calendar adjusted data, the growth was 5.7 percent.
The increase in raw data is due to the sales of non-food products, food, beverages and tobacco, whose volume increased by 6.1 percent, while 3.2 percent more of fuel was sold than in 2017. (MTI)
