21.3 million guests visited the Czech commercial accommodations last year
Last year, 21.3 million guests stayed in hotels, pensions or camps in the Czech Republic, 6.4 percent more than in 2017,which is a new record. The number of domestic and foreign guests was roughly 50-50 percent – the Czech Statistical Office (CSÚ)announced in Prague.
The more than 55 million guest nights spent in commercial accommodations are also a new record. Service providers’ revenues increased by 2.7 percent compared to the previous year. Revenue growth has been steady for the fifth year. (MTI, Kokes János)
