The Romanian beer market grew by 2 percent last year
Last year, Romanian beer consumption increased by 2 percent to 16.11 million hectoliters, according to the Romanian beer producers’ association.
Average beer consumption per capita was 82 liters in 2017. The brewery industry provided directly and indirectly 85,000 jobs.
Last year, the total value of investments of the companies operating in the beer industry amounted to 71.8 million euros, which is 2 million euros more than in 2016. (MTI)
