Rossmann on a long-term growth path in Hungary
The Hungarian subsidiary of the Rossmann drugstore group closed last year with an increase of 8.9 percent and a gross revenue of 47.5 billion HUF. The company is on a steady growth path after the crisis – Flórián László the company's managing director told at a press conference in Budapest on Thursday.
This year's plan with an 8 percent growth is 51.3 billion HUF. The number of stores will increase from 180 to 184, while the number of staff will increase by 41 to 1201 by the end of the year – the Executive Director said.
The Hungarian subsidiary closed last year with a profit amounted to 1.45 billion HUF – said Flórián László, told MTI. This year, the store development, renovation and investment will reach 1.2 billion HUF.
