Széchenyi Card Programme: a lasting driving force for the domestic economy

The Széchenyi Card Programme has had great positive influence on the domestic SME sector and the Hungarian economy, according to a recent study by the Equilibrium Institute, which was presented at the KAVOSZ Zrt. conference in Budapest in February.

The analysis points out that thanks to KAVOSZ Zrt.’s programme, Hungary’s GDP grew by approximately HUF 4,500bn between 2015 and 2025. “With its preferential financing schemes, the Széchenyi Card Programme contributes to expanding the financing options available to domestic micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises”, said Dr Ádám Balog, chairman of the board of directors of KAVOSZ Zrt.
