It's a busy harvest-time in the Tokaj region
The harvest of early ripening grapes began last week in the Tokaj foothills, and the harvest is still on. According to estimates, the crop is going to be over 300 thousands quintals of grapes, and the quality is going to be better than that of last year – Tokaj Trading House Ltd informed MTI.
The region’s largest state-owned company, Tokaj Trading House Ltd. is paying 90-110 forints to producers for each kilogramm of early ripening grapes, which is forty percent more than last year.
