IKEA increased its profits in China
Net profit at the Swedish flat-pack self-assembly budget furniture company, which owns most Ikea stores, was 3.51 billion euros ($3.86 billion) in the 12 months through August 2015, against 3.33 billion the year before.
China was Ikea's fastest-growing market with 19 percent sales growth including three new stores.
Ikea said during the year it increased investments to 3.2 billion euros from 2.2 billion the year before, mainly in stores, shopping centers and renewable energy. (MTI)
