Nestlé, Mars Wrigley and Ferrero support the EU deforestation regulation
From 30 December the EU’s deforestation regulation requires companies selling cocoa, coffee, palm oil and other products in the EU to prove that their supply chains aren’t contributing to deforestation. Industry groups such as the Confederation of European Paper Industries are calling for a delay in the introduction of the regulation, but Nestlé, Mars Wrigley and Ferrero are urging Brussels to meet the deadline – with more help for companies to comply.
