The Ministry of Rural Development supports the producers' markets
The Ministry of Rural Development supports the producers' markets mainly with legal tools and also by providing the necessary financial background. The aim is to establish producers' markets in as many places as possible in the country – V. Németh Zsolt, Minister of State, responsible for Rural Development, told MTI.
The Minister of State indicated that the producers' markets – the direct food sales – are not only a niche in the market now, but are a separate sector, with increasing demand. He added that this market tendency prevail recently in Hungary, as the producer – farmer – markets are becoming increasingly popular among consumers. (MTI)
