Czechs consume food more economically
Czechs consume food more economically – pointed out the Czech Statistical Office in its report, which analyzed the consumption of 2010.
A Czech citizens consumed 2.1 percent less food in 2010 than in 2009. The consumption of bread and milk both reduced, while the consumption of pastas, cheese and other dairy products increased. however, dramatic changes in the consumption of certain products, did not occur.
“The bread consumption shrinkage and the increase in the consumption of pastas is the continuation of a multi-annual trend” – stressed Zdenek Kobes, statistical office analyst.
