Takarékbank: GDP growth could be 4.8 percent last year
As a result of higher-than-expected GDP growth, Takarékbank published its forecast for last year. According to its analysts, the annual growth of gross domestic product was 4.8 percent in 2018 – Suppan Gergely, the leading analyst at Takarékbank said at a press conference in Budapest on Thursday.
According to the experts of Takarék Group’s Analytical Center, because of the favorable effects and the continuing dynamic real wage growth, and due to the significant increase in consumption this year, the Takarékbank analyst team expects a 4.2 percent GDP growth – Suppan Gergely said. (MTI)
