Takarék Csoport: investment mood in agriculture continues to be strong
Although the number of worries has increased in agriculture due to the trend in profitability, the investment climate is still strong: most of the farmers are still planning to increase their numbers and increase their efficiency in the next 12 months, according to the Takarék Csoport’s (Savings Group) Third Agricultural Mood Index.
According to the information, 80 percent of the respondents are planning to invest in the next one year. 52 percent of the respondents do not expect any change in profitability, while 28 percent expect improvement and 19 percent expect deterioration during this period.
They note, however, that slightly more people are concerned about the profitability, compared to the previous survey, which they are trying to alleviate with investments to improve their efficiency. (MTI)
