Information on the submission of payment requests for winemaking investments
The coronavirus pandemic and the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war have caused a significant shortage of spare parts and raw materials in the machinery industry. Due to these problems, producers involved in wine investments that can be requested from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund are informed that we intend to open a new, later period for payment requests in November and December 2023.

53/2020 on support that can be requested from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund for the purchase of wine machinery and technological equipment. (X. 27.) On the basis of AM decree, in several cases, the suppliers cannot complete the delivery and commissioning of the winemaking machines and technological equipment included in the application within the previously agreed period. According to this decree, the applicants could have submitted their payment requests only between November 15 and December 21, 2022 or between April 10 and May 2, 2023. With the planned amendment to the submission period, the Ministry of Agriculture would allow payment requests to be submitted in the second half of the year, between November 15 and December 21, 2023. By this date, it is expected that the ordered machines and equipment will have arrived for all applicants and can be put into operation.
The Ministry of Agriculture also draws attention to the fact that only one payment request can still be submitted with a support request. According to this, if the grant application includes the purchase of several machines and equipment, the machines can only be accounted for together, not separately.
