Information on the intake of calories quantity
The consumer protectors have long been treating as a priority target the various fast food chains.
Last year in the states of California and New York, larger fast food chains were comitted to indicate not just the price of food, but also the calorie. After one year the surveys have demonstrated that in those restaurant units, a reduction in calories quantity has occured by 50-100 calories per customer per meal. Due to consumer and government pressure, in England 17 restaurant chains connected to the circle of providers who offer to indicate calories quantity. In Hungary, the McDonalds and Burger King is also informs their customers on the calorie intake. These two companies in Hungary, owns more than three-quarters of the market – reports FOGYASZTOK.hu.
