Vintage Days in Gyöngyös

The Vintage Days Celebrations of the country’s largest historic wine region will be held in Gyöngyös between 14-16 September.

The Harvest Festival and Wine Festival takes place at the city's main square. The finest winemakers of the Mátra wine region will offer their delicious, light, fragrant wines, while the guests can try the culinary specialties of the Mátra region.

On Friday, the Vidróczki Folk Ensemble will provide the dance show to the public, then the Besh o droM will play. On Saturday afternoon, the traditional Görgényi László goulash cooking competition will take place. The president of the jury will be Bodrogi Gyula actor.

Then Galambos Lajos, (Lagzi Lajcsi) and his fellow musicians, later the Varga Feri and Balássy Betty couple will entertaine the audience. The evening closes with a street party.

On Sunday, cultural and folklore programs, and the presentations of folk artists will await the interested.

The festival continues with the traditional harvest parade on Sunday, and then the program closes with the gig of the stars of Neoton Família. (MTI)
