Superhero shop assistants star in Edeka’s new image campaign
German supermarket chain Edeka has launched a new image campaign to attract new employees to its stores. The campaign is mainly aimed at experienced professionals and career changers.
The new online advertising film “Supermarket, superheroes” presents Edeka store employees as superheroes, whose enthusiasm for food and their work is portrayed in a humorous way. The film is part of the large-scale “Supermarket, Super Jobs” recruitment campaign, which since October 2023 has supported around 3,500 Edeka store employees across Germany in finding qualified staff.
The ad is widely available online on CTV, YouTube, Netflix and social media channels such as Facebook and Instagram.
