The approval of new beers is suspended in the U.S.

The U.S. beer industry is also badly affected by the halt in the work of the central government, since the authorization of the new beers has stopped as well.

The U.S. agency that is responsible for the authorization of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products has to approve the new products, if they contain special ingredients.
The agency currently does not accept any requests and does deal with the formerly submitted recipes as well. ( Index)
