Birthday Zwack hall inauguration: This year, the cutting-edge SZC József Zwack Technical and Vocational Training School in Békéscsaba has borne the name of the legendary beverage company for 20 years.

The Zwack school still plays a decisive role in the hospitality, tourism and trade sectors: it has always been considered an educational institution for excellent professionals. In 2004, celebrating its fiftieth birthday, the vocational school adopted the name Zwack, which for centuries has been intertwined with the concepts of tradition, high quality and innovation.

In February of this year, the renowned school and the long-established beverage manufacturer celebrated their 20th anniversary. As part of the event on the 29th, a commemoration of the institution’s 70 years of existence was held, followed by the laying of a wreath on the statue of József Zwack, and the inauguration of two new computer science classrooms named after János Zwack and Péter Zwack. All of this is a tribute to the iconic characters of the legendary Zwack history, János, the third and former owner of the Zwack factory that produced Unicum, and Péter, who was later president of Zwack Unicum Nyrt. and was also a well-known personality as a businessman and politician.
