Italian restaurants are using breathalysers
Since the 13th of November the Italian restaurants that are serving alcoholic beverages after midnight, should keep breathalysers.
The restaurant operators must put charts showing the alcohol content of spirits on every table at a visible place. From the chart it is easy to read, how many glasses of wine or a beer the guest with car can consume safely. If a guest stays at the restaurant after midnight, before leaving one should be breathalysed. The restaurant that forgets to breathalyse, risks a fine of 300-1200 euros – reports MTI.
