Rules on food labeling to be stricter from Saturday
The food labeling requirements will be strcter from Saturday stricter. The Regulation will enter into force on 12 December 2014.
According to the regulation, the mandatory informations – such as name, ingredients, net quantity, expiration date – should be indicated clearly directly on the packaging in the case of pre-packaged food products or should be indicated on a label affixed to the product, while the font height should not be less than 1, 2 millimeters.
