World Fair Trade Day – on Saturday
This is almost a 60 years old tradition in the USA, is celebrated in Europa until 40 years, but in Hungary only since 2002.
Fair Trade organisations (backed by consumers) are engaged
actively in supporting producers, awareness raising and in campaigning for
changes in the rules and practice of conventional international trade.
The Fair Trade labbeling can get products which are produced
not by children in Africa or in India, and the woman – how works with it – earn
the same money as the men, plus is environment frendly.
Fairtrade labbeling.
