The public day of the Pannon Wine Competition will be held on Saturday
The organizers of the 13th Pannon Wine Competition will held a public day on Saturday. The visitors can take part in masterclasses with internationally recognized experts, and can taste the fifty kind of samples of Hungary's most prestigious wine competition in the Gerbeaud House, Budapest.
For this year’s, Pannon Wine Competition nearly 113 domestic wine producers entered with 300 wines. Similar to the previous year, mostly Furmints were received. Among red wines, cabernet wines are dominating, but the proportion of gamay also increased. Most of the wines came from the Tokaj-Hegyalja wine region. (MTI)
