The stores will open on Saturday, and the quarantine will end in France on December 15
With the reopening of stores on Saturday, the phasing out of epidemiological restrictions in France due to the coronavirus pandemic will begin, with the government planning to end general quarantine on December 15 – Emmanuel Macron announced.
The French head of state indicated in a televised speech on Tuesday night that all shops forced to close on October 30 could reopen on Saturday and worship services could be held.
The ban on unjustified abandonment will be lifted by the government on December 15, but a night curfew will take effect until January 20 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Between December 24 and 31, due to year-end holidays, there will be no curfew in the evenings. Theaters, cinemas and museums may open on 15 December, but the date for the opening of restaurants and gyms will only be decided in January. (MTI)
