Grape harvest: excellent vintage in medium quantities
Although this year’s harvest is still very early and the amount of grapes harvested so far is only medium, it is already clear that the quality is very good – agrarszektor.hu wrote. If the weather is favorable in the further half of the autumn, a very good vintage can get into the cellars in Hungary this year.
This year’s harvest started with the earliest ripening Csabagyöngye grapes about ten days ago, and within a few days the collection of the Irsai Olivér grape variety, which has been unbroken for 5-6 years, may be completed – Varga Péter, Member of the Board of the National Council of Mountain Communities told InfoRádió.
