Szolnok’s Mayor informed Népszabadság, that the city is still working on to collect the own contribution to the Chinese backgrounded citric acid factory. They are investigating whether banks or other sources would be the more economical ways of borrowing.
Szalay Ferenc, Mayor and the Chinese China BBCA Group Corporation indicated that the total investment cost amounts to 90 million USD, about 20.2 billion HUF. 70 percent of the costs would be provided by the Chinese Development Bank, while 30 percent would be the downpayment. 40 percent of this would be provided by BBCA, while 60 percent would be the stake of the industrial park, that provides the site to the project.
