Dominik Szoboszlai transferred to McDonald’s
Dominik Szoboszlai, the captain of the Hungarian national football team and midfielder of Liverpool, has entered into a long-term cooperation lasting several years with the Hungarian McDonald’s. As the first step of the partnership, on May 30, at the Szoboszlai Live event, fans will be able to get to know Domi’s favorite mekis menu, which will be available to anyone after June 4. As part of the cooperation, the national football team will also help the work of the domestic Ronald McDonald Children’s Aid Foundation.
Anyone can have a favorite mekis menu. This is the idea behind the Famous Orders Super Bowl spot in the United States in 2020. Buoyed by the success of the commercial, McDonald’s took the idea a step further and allowed fans to order their favorite mekis menu from their favorite celebrity. Famous Orders (at home: “Mekis faves”) thus left the world of advertising and was created as a real restaurant offer. Over the past years, the brand has primarily collaborated with music artists globally, including Travis Scott, J Balvin, and then BTS. Among domestic celebrities, Dominik Szoboszlai will have a menu composed of his favorite Mekis products for the first time on the table.
