Information can be provided verbally about the allergen ingredients of pre-packaged foods

Information can be given verbally about the allergen ingredients or ingredients causing intolerance of the pre-packaged food products – the Ministerial regulation of the Minister of Agriculture contains. The regulation was published in the Official Gazette (Magyar Közlöny) on Wednesday.

The mandatory information providing concerns to the foodstuffs intended to be given to the finel consumers, including food products marketed under the hospitality and catering as well. The regulation does not apply for non pre-packaged foods offered by food vending machines and automated sales outlets. (MTI)
