In Slovenia, most shops closed on Saturday, part of the service industry and tourism shut down
In Slovenia, non-essential shops, restaurants and hotels, as well as hairdressing and beauty salons, and, with a few exceptions, kindergartens and dormitories, were closed for a week. A night curfew came into force on Tuesday, and from Monday, educational institutions switched to digital education, with the exception of the lower grades of elementary schools.
According to data released by the government on Saturday, the number of infected people increased to 21,270 on Friday with 1963. Nineteen patients died, bringing the death toll to 234. Of the patients diagnosed, 449 are in hospital, 63 of whom are cared for in the intensive care unit. (Kriják Krisztina, MTI)
