Spar Sales Up 10% in Slovenia
Spar’s Slovenian subsidiary has seen its sales during 2008 rise by 10% year-on-year to E678m, according to details in local business daily Finance.
The report said the company invested
E44m during the year, and its expansion saw its staff numbers grow by
5% to 4,040 employees. Spar reportedly plans to invest around
E30m-E35m on operations in Slovenia this year, but could alter it
plans if market conditions continue to worsen.
