Slovenia is at the forefront in the origin protection of traditional agricultural products
Slovenia is at the forefront in the community preservation of origin protection of agricultural products and geographical indications. Slovenia applies for protection for more products than Austria, Hungary or Croatia – a local newspaper wrote.
According to the Zurnal daily paper, the single EU origin protection protects the traditional Slovenian products, from other dumped commercial brands on the market and from falsification. (Kriják Krisztina, MTI)
