Slovak-Hungarian cooperation facilitates cross-border tourism
The aim of the Cultractive initiative is to showcase the natural and cultural values of Csallóköz and Szigetköz, and to promote cross-border cooperation, offering thematic hiking trails, architectural attractions and cultural events in the region to locals and tourists.
Eleven cultural and tourist institutions in Hungary and six in Slovakia in the two partner cities of the program, Győr and Dunaszerdahely joined their forces to implement the initiative. The program costs 974 thousand euros (more than 320 million HUF). (MTI)
